Our effort to help Sri Lankans pull through the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Homeless, Hungry & Desperate

Tourists who’ve visited the Pearl of the Indian Ocean, Sri Lanka, would speak of how ‘happy’ and ‘smiley faced’ Sri Lankan’s are. Sadly, this is not the case now. Those happy, smiley faces have been overtaken by gloom and sadness. From North to South. Businesses struggling to pay its employees to Daily-Wage Earners drinking water to fill their bellies with no way of making an income to feed themselves. This is Suffering Personified.

On the 23rd of August,
with the support of our donors, we started distributing
100 Rice and Curry Packs daily around Colombo.

Initiated by Bhante Pannavamsa this project feeds the homeless and those who have been forced into homelessness owing, in most cases, to the unbearable burden of debt building up every month.
